I'm recovering perfectionist, passionate about the intersections of mindful living and leadership. As a classic Type A, nonprofit executive, social entrepreneur, and mom of two, I experience the many benefits of mindful movement, intention-setting, and breathwork daily.
Through Mindful Type A Wellness, I help high-impact (and often high strung!) leaders and teams find more focus, resilience, and joy so that they can pursue transformational results.

With a Masters in Public Administration, more than 20 years of executive experience, and a personal yoga & meditation practice spanning more than 10 years, I offer a purposeful and practical approach to thriving in both work and life. In my teaching, writing, and speaking I share lessons from her own leadership journey and leave students with tools they can use right away.
Based in Durham, NC, I earned my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training certification and am pursuing my 500-hour Yoga Teacher Training through Carolina Yoga Company. I also studied Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction at Duke Integrative Medicine and became a Certified Mindfulness & Meditation Teacher through the School for Positive Transformation.
